3. The White Picket Fence: Amy’s Personal Story of Faith and Courage

While her family was supportive, she also had other childhood challenges to face: everything from the imposed physical challenge of dwarfism, a five-year battle with a childhood illness, low self-esteem, and depression. Somehow, the power of faith, prayer, and a voice that called her to rise above her daily doubt helped keep her on track. Amy talks about what works (and what doesn’t) and how to harness the power of faith in your life, whatever your age.

Amy discusses navigating parenthood with four children – three of whom were taller than her by 1st grade. Being a parent can be both a noun and a verb, in this seminar, Amy talks about how to parent and how to be a parent. Sometimes those can have two different meanings.
