The perfect dessert...or snack for that homemade sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 Tbls flour
- 4 cups halved strawberries
- 4 cups sliced rhubarb
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 Tbls lemon juice
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon (if desired)
- ½ tsp nutmug (if desired)
Directions
Preheat oven 375. In large bowl mixed together sugar, 4 Tbls flour, strawberries, rhubarb, lemon zest and 1Tbls lemon juice and place mixture in a 9×13 baking dish.
Mix 2 cups of flour, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and oats til crumbly. A pastry cutter is useful here. Crumble mixture on top of the strawberry rhubarb mixture
Bake mixture in a preheated oven for 45 mixture til crisp is lightly brown.
